  • HCE Mailing Capital Credit Checks to Members

    Hill County Electric Cooperative (HCE) has announced that it will be mailing out capital credit checks to current and former cooperative members. HCE’s Board of Trustees has authorized a general retirement of capital credits totaling over $106,000. This general retirement is comprised of 10% of the remaining capital credit balances for 1984 and ½ of 1% of the capital credit balances for the years 1985 through 2014.     Last January Alpine Pacific Utilities, a Kalispell-based engineering firm, filed a preliminary permit to study the feasibility of using Fresno Dam's excess overflow water to generate electricity.
