Monday, the Sugarbeeter Golf Team found green at the Meadowlark Golf and Country in Great Falls. The Chinook Lions Swim Team put on yet another spectacular 'Spring into Basketball' 3 on 3 Tournament this past Sunday at the Chinook High School Gymnasium. More that 200 athletes filled out the rosters for 43 boys and girls teams that competed in multiple divisions. The District 9C Senior Classic is a fun filled night that pits seniors and juniors together on White/Dark girls and boys team from all eight schools. The night is more than just players getting together, its about playing with others they have competed against as well as teammates they have played with. The 36th Annual Hi-Line Invitational Tournament took place this past weekend at the Armory Gymnasium on the campus of MSU-Northern in Havre. The Light and Skylight basketball teams co- hosted the event featuring many of the top high school girls and boys basketball players from across the state of Montana. The Hays/Lodge Pole Archery team was in Great Falls recently in preparation for the State Archery tournament later this month in Helena. Competing at Paris Gibson High School were 39 boys and 28 girls representing teams from Paris Gibson, Great Falls High (ROTC), Heart Butte, and Hays-Lodge Pole. The Class C Girls State Basketball Tournament gets underway today, Wednesday, March 8 at the Metra Park First Interstate Arena in Billings, Montana and will conclude Saturday night with the State Championship game being played at 6:00 pm.
