McGruff makes a visit to Turner Elementary

McGruff visited the school on Wednesday as part of Red Ribbon Week. He and his travel partner, Carly Meyers, came to to talk to the elementary about how and when to dial for emergencies and the importance of respecting a 911 call. The children truly enjoyed listening to Ms. Meyers and were given the chance to ask questions to her informative visit. She emphasized McGruff's motto of "Take a bite out of Crime!" The National Honor Society handed out candy when they were done with their presentation. Shown here is the National Honor Society with their visitors.
