Harlem's Spring Golf Banquet set for April 2

Harlem's Charlie Brekke poses beside the handcrafted cedar chest to be raffled as part of the Harlem Golf Association's Spring Golf Banquet. The banquet will feature a roasted pork dinner, door prizes and several major raffle and auction items. The banquet is set for the evening of Saturday, April 2 at the Harlem VFW Club.

The Harlem Golf Association has set its annual fundraiser to help support operation of the golf course for Saturday, April 2, 6-10pm at the Harlem VFW Club. The event will include a roasted pork dinner with all the trimmings.

During the evening several prizes will be raffled, including a handmade chest by local woodworker Charlie Brekke. According to Ralph Schneider, with the Golf Association, a Howa Model 1500 .22-250 complete rifle package, with mounted scope was donated and will also be among the raffled items.
