Barbara L (Bradbury) Peterson, 90 passed away on May 9, 2016.

She was born on March 25, 1926 in Havre, Montana, to W.H. and Pearl Bradbury. Barbara graduated from Havre High School. She married Garfield Peterson in 1946.She worked side by side with Garfield on the farm north of Havre until his death in 1981 when she moved to Havre.
Barbara was very active in the community a member of Farmers Union, Cottonwood Home Demonstration Club, Cottonwood Ladies Aide, and First Lutheran Church. She was a 4-H Leader for many years. She was known for her excellent cooking, sewing, quilting and crafting. Barbara always said she was Norwegian by osmosis, baking and cooking all of the special Norwegian recipes.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Billy Bradbury and Alfred Bradbury.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Savasten Getten (Russell) of Havre; sisters, Ruth Laugen Fernandez (Al), Zella (Frank) Witter, of Hungry Horse, Joyce Weagley of Coeur d’ Alene ID and grandchildren, Dale (Jodi) Savasten, Farmington MN, Keith (Beth) Savasten, Edgerton KS, Jay (Lisa) Getten, Amanda (Eric) Reed of Havre and Stephen Getten of Washington DC, and ten great grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
