Chinook schools Spelling Bee winners

 

The Chinook Meadowlark and Junior High Schools recently held the annual Spelling Bee as students competed with the hopes of advancing to the Blaine County Spelling Bee on February 21 in mind. These young minds correctly annunciated the spelling of enough words to advance or qualify as an alternate. They are, front row Left to Right: Anna Terry, Britton Elliot, 2nd Place: Samuel Christensen, Alexis Pitkanen, Alternate: Bree Swanson. Back row left to right: 1st Place: Bailey Skoyen, Robyn Chaffin, Christopher Jungers, Braden Eoff, Austin Swanson, Liam Edwards, Allison Powell, Allyssa Schoen. The Blaine County Spelling Bee will take place February 21 in the Chinook high School Auditorium at 10 a.m. The prize for winning the county bee, a trip to the State competition in coming weeks and a chance to compete in Washington D.C at the National Bee this summer.
