Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. LEGO Club is Thursdays from 3:30 to 4:30 and is open to kids in grades K-6. Middle School Hangout is scheduled for Monday February 27th, at 3:30 p.m. and is open to kids in grades 6-8.

We've had a number of patrons in looking for tax booklets and forms. There has been a big push in the last few years to get taxpayers to file on-line, and every year the forms and booklets arrive later and later. We have Montana tax booklets and forms, but we have not received any Federal booklets or forms. We have no idea when anything will arrive. We have printed one copy of each of the tax booklets, for use in the library. All tax forms can be accessed and printed from http://www.irs.gov. We will do our best to help you find the forms you need. We do charge .20 cents per page for any printing.

"The Light Between Oceans" and "Trolls" are new movies ready to go this week. Several of the books ready for checkout this week are on bestseller lists. "Behind Her Eyes" by Sarah Pinborough and "Heartbreak Hotel" by Jonathan Kellerman are on this week's New York Times List. "Swing Time" by Zadie Smith is a New York Times Bestseller and an Amazon Best Book of November 2016. "This is How it Always Is" is an Amazon Best Book of January 2017 and one of People Magazines Book of the Week. "The Lost Woman" by Sara Blaedel, "Long Time Lost" by Chris Ewan, and "Home Sweet Home" by April Smith are thrillers. "The Rusted Sun" by Michael Zimmer is a Western available this week.

New additions have been added to our on-going book sale in the entry way. We also have a cart with discarded magazines that are free for the taking.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what's going on!
