It’s been a busy week here in our community. The Divisonal Track meet was held last Thursday in Great Falls. The weather was nice and the kids did well. Eddie Harmon, Cody Welsh, and Sarah Billmayer all qualified for State. It will be held this Friday and Saturday May 26 and 27th at Laurel. Good luck to the Turner Tornadoes as they compete there.

Graduation was held at Turner on Saturday with a large crowd attending. Speaker was their former Kindergarten teacher, Shelly Harmon, Graduating from High School were Ella Billmayer, Rennay Watkins, and Whitney Hunter. Eighth grade graduates were Shyan Krass, Brooke Reed, Shane Kimmel, Ethan Heilig, Brandy Calvert, Alaynee Hawley, Austin Welsh, and Connor VanValkenburg. Parties were held at the Park and at various homes. Congratulations to all the graduates.

Susan Billmayer and Emily Billmayer were in Missoula this past week from Tuesday thru Friday where Emily participated in the Special Olympics Meet. Susan was a chaperone for the group.

Sandy Beck attended Graduation in Turner coming especially for her nephew, Connor VanValkenburg who graduated from the 8th grade.

Dalton Cornell and Danial were home last week to help Dave with the farming and Danial to visit with Grandma Teresa,

Harlan and Jane Krass attended graduation in Turner for their two granddaughters, Brooke Reed and Shyan Krass. They also attended the party after for Brooke at her home.

Confirmation was held in Turner Sunday with Brooke Reed and Laci Maloney being confirmed. They were honored with a Brunch afterwards of breakfast casseroles, a variety of muffins and fresh fruit. A large crowd attended the occasion.

Dalton and Alyssa and son Danial of Billings, and Cassie, Richard, and August Handran of Scobey visited the Cornell home over the weekend and attended graduation in Harlem for Kinsey Cornell and party after.

Kindergarten graduation was held Monday in Turner. Those graduating were Savannah Heilig, Isabella and Hannah VanVoast, Piper Fox, Hudson Simons, Colt Leitner, and Dane Frey-Haluszka.

Helen and Jim Billmayer are home from Arizona for the summer. They have been busy visiting family since they returned. Glad you are back home and hope to visit with you soon.

Dennis and Dixie Roseleip of Billings were here to celebrate Connor VanValkenburg’s graduation. They visited Sandy Beck Sunday morning at her home before returning to Billings..

Teresa Cornell was to Great Falls last Sunday to spend Mothers Day with her Mom, Evelyn Hedstrom. She spent the night at Kris and LeAnn Hedstrom’s.

Susan and Emily Billmayer attended graduation in Turner on Saturday.

Hilary Richman celebrated her birthday on Sunday. Diana Maloney and Linda Hauge came over to Mom and Dad Krass’ in the afternoon and had birthday cake and coconut cream pie with her. Happy Birthday Hilary!

The Turner kids will finish the year with school on Thursday.

The Rabies Clinic will be in Turner at the old Fire Hall on Friday, June 16 from 11-1 pm. The Clinic is sponsored by Big Flat 4-H Club. Bring your cats and dogs in for their shots, and not have to travel to town to do it. Blaine County Veterinary Service will be on hand to vaccinate them.

Vacation Bible School will be held on June 12-16 from 9am-12pm at the Turner Lutheran Church. Contact Elissa Zellmer, Anita Reed, or Amy Egbert for more information.

Memorial Day Services will be held on Monday, May29 on the Big Flat. Services will be at Silverbow at 10 am, Wing at 10:45, and at Turner at 11:30. There will be a Pot Luck lunch at Turner following the graveside services.
