Acting President Daniel Tilleman called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on May 17th, 2018 at the Meadowlark School Cafeteria with 22 members, 2 leaders, and 5 guests present.

Katie Tilleman led the American pledge and the 4-H pledge was led by Micah Conner/Gerky.

Roll call was to name your favorite 4-H project.

Acting Secretary Jacob Metcalf read the minutes from the April meeting. The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer Britton Elliot gave the treasurer's report and one bill was presented.

We sent a thank you card to Jessica Gallus, a sympathy card to the Berreth family, and a graduation card to Colton Liddle.

Micah Conner/Gerky gave reports on the dog and robotics workshops.

Under unfinished business, there was a reminder that all members need to complete a demonstration or talk before the end of the year. We will paint at the baseball field on June 3rd at 3:00 p.m. for our community service project.

Under new business, Katie Tilleman motioned to give the graduating senior $10.00.

Grace Buck seconded it and motion passed. Each member needs to complete their scrapbook page by the next meeting. Ashley Liddle is available at Shore's Floral for additional pages or to turn in pages. Fair entry is due June 1st. Extension agent, Kendra, will be available after the meeting to explain how to use the on line entry as well as the paper entry. We will clean up the chuckwagon for our next meeting on June 21st. We tabled a discussion on whether the club should pay for fair fees or not, once we have a total. The club will pay for the cleaning fees, which are reimbursed once the animal barns are cleaned after the fair.

There is a robotics workshop in Chinook at the Triple E Room on May 17th from 9-11a.m. There is a 4-H livestock meeting on May 30th at 6:00pm at the Triple E Room. There is a 4-H Council meeting on June 4th at 6:30 p.m. 4-H camp registration is due to the office by June 1st.

Kendra gave a talk on the fair entry process. Katie Tilleman motioned to adjourn the meeting and Gus Buck seconded it. Motion passed.

Thank you to the Metcalf and Tilleman families for hosting this meeting.

Our next meeting will be June 21st at 5:30 at the Chuckwagon. Hosts will be the Klingaman family.
