Nez Perce, Sioux speakers gather at Battlefield

Jake White Plume of the Nez Perce Tribe welcomes visitors, friends and families to a gathering at the Bear Paw Battlefield Saturday morning. Soon they were joined by Sioux speakers of Nakota, Dakota and Lakota descent in a gathering to make amends for there actions as scouts for General Nelson Miles during the battle that preceded the famous speech Made by Chief Joseph on October 5, 1877.
