Thank you to everyone who attended our 27th Annual Hassle Free Christmas Program. We had a nice turnout. Thank you to Bonnie Hellman, Bree Swanson, Anna Terry, Toran Cecrle and Hannah Schoen for being presenters this year. We would also like to thank Julie Finley and the members of the Ecumenical Echoes Bell Choir for their performance again this year. Jen Hellman and Barb Ranstrom were the lucky winners of the door prizes.

The movie today will be "A Very Merry Mix-Up" at 1:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. The movie is not rated, and it runs for one hour and 27 minutes. Everyone is welcome to attend, and refreshments will be served. "The Christmas Train" will be the movie next Wednesday. If anyone has a request for a movie, just let us know and we will do our best to show it. You can also let Marlene at the Senior Center know what you'd like to see.

Come take a look at the selection of Christmas books on the display table for the month of December and check out a few to enjoy!

We have several fiction books available this week. "Hazards of Time Travel" by Joyce Carol Oates is an ingenious, dystopian novel of one young woman's resistance against the constraints of an oppressive society. "Open Your Eyes" by Paula Daly follows a bestselling crime novelist's tragic turn from fictional perpetrator into real-life victim. "Night of Miracles" by Elizabeth Berg is a delightful novel about surprising friendships, community, and the way small acts of kindness can change a life. "Master of His Fate" by Barbara Taylor Bradford is the first book in a stunning new historical saga. "The Rain Watcher" by Tatiana De Rosnay is a heartbreaking and uplifting story of family secrets and devastating disaster, set against a Paris backdrop, fraught with revelations, and resolutions.

Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. Middle School Hangout, for kids in grades 6-8 is held on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. LEGO Club is Thursday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and is open to kids in grades K-6. Younger kids are welcome to attend with an adult.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what's going on!
