Donna Miller to write for the Blaine County Journal

December 12, 2018

Donna L. Miller, who taught English, Drama, and Advanced Placement English at Chinook High School for 26 years and then went on to work in the post-secondary educational system for another ten years, will begin writing for the Blaine County Journal-News-Opinion. Although she still serves as an Educational Consultant and as a manager of the website http://www.thinkingzone.org, Miller will work on a part-time basis as a free-lance writer for the newspaper.

Miller, who is passionate about writing, told the Journal, "I find immense pleasure when I am twisting, twirling, and tinkering with words." She has written for several professional magazines like English Journal, Tribal College Journal, The ALAN Review, and Phi Delta Kappan and looks forward to sharing news with Blaine County residents. Anyone with a lead on a story is encouraged to contact Miller by phone 357-4282 or by email: donnamiller@itstriangle.com.

When she is not reading or writing, Miller enjoys fishing, motorcycling, gardening, or boating with John, her husband for 36 years. She also cherishes sharing time with relatives, especially their son Dallas and his family in North Dakota.
