The Local Geography Bee will be held this coming Wednesday, January 7th beginning at 10:11, third period of school, in the 5th and 6th grade classroom.
This week’s basketball games include traveling to Hays/Lodge Pole at 5:00 and 6:30 on Friday, January 10th. On Saturday, Chinook will be coming to Turner and game times are 6:00 and 7:30.
On January 14, the local spelling bee will be held at 12:45 in the school gymnasium. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Gerald and Shirley Keller spent an early Christmas at Juliann and J.D. Solomon’s home in Helena. While there, they enjoyed Austyn’s Christmas program.
The Miles Hutton family had supper with Tom Johnson and Linda Miller in Malta on Friday. Shania Maloney was home from Chester over the holidays. Gerald and Shirley Keller enjoyed Christmas dinner in the mountains with Barb and Ted Crowley.
Max and Kirsti Cederberg had dinner in Havre on New Year’s with friends, Chuck and Barb Salerno. Ron and Susan Fox celebrated Christmas Day at Dan and Amy Hutton’s home.
On Dec. 27th, Gerald and Shirley Keller had a late Christmas in Havre with Raymond Keller family, Bill Keller family, and Kevin Keller family.
Linda and Darel spent a couple days over at Jane and Harlan Krass home installing a new washer and dryer for them. Nate and Billie Jo Simons and Hudson and Mary Simons were to Medicine Hat for a couple days. Kraig and Renella Hansen, Clinton and Marijia Hansen, Kevin and Kimberly Hansen and family, and Kent and Jenna Hansen and family, and Max and Kirsti Cederberg gathered together at Lenny Erickson’s for Christmas.
Gerald and Shirley Keller enjoyed the New Year’s Eve party in Turner sponsored by the Lion’s Club.
Linda and Lyndsay Hutton traveled to Bozeman Saturday where Lyndsay will complete her final semester of grad school while doing an internship in elementary schools.
Anita and Bridget attended basketball games this weekend. Gerald and Shirley Keller were to a ballgame in Malta on Saturday.
Christmas Eve dinner guests at the Max and Kirsti Cederberg home were Butch and Janie Mohar, Don and Connie Cornell, and Stacy, and Lenny Erickson. Darci, Reuban, Owen, Eleanor, Erik, and Lucas Aeder along with Brandon, Ashleigh, and Quinn Simons spent time in Turner over Christmas with Ryle and Patty Simons and Nate, Billie Jo, Hudson and Mary Simons.
A.J. and Denise Watkins, Rennay and Melanie Watkins and Jacki Jo Warren were to Tom and Lucy Fairbank’s home over Christmas. Don and Bonnie Harmon spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Jon and Shelly Harmon and family. Terry and Tammy Jones spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in Chinook at Don and Merilynne Berger’s home. Then the following weekend all of their kids were out to help celebrate the holidays.
Jon and Shelly Harmon have been on the run with ball games, both High School and College! Last Saturday and Sunday, they watched the Lights and Skylights. New Year’s Day they watched Eddie and the Lights. Friday, they found themselves back to Turner to watch Jack and the Tornadoes playing Dodson and then on the road to Box Elder on Saturday.
