We've Got The County Covered

Hogeland Happenings

It’s a dreary day again here on the Big Flat. We have received a small amount of rain and a little snow that melted as it hit the ground. We could use a good soaking rain to give the crops a boost to grow. Maybe it will come yet. Lets hope so.

The Senior Class returned Saturday evening from their Senior Trip to Coeur d’Alene, ID where they toured and did variety of things, and then on to Fairmont Hot Springs for their last days of the trip. They had good weather and had a good time.

Duane Klindworth visited Tuesday morning at the Wallace Beck home.

Susan Billmayer and Anita Reed visited Jane Krass on Monday morning, Diana Maloney had sent cinnamon rolls for them to enjoy with their coffee.

The Turner High and Junior High School traveled to Whitewater on Friday to participate in their track events. Turner did well and brought home many awards. This time they were cold and didn’t get sunburned.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sharon Goodrich and Pastor Will Rima visited with Jane Krass. They had tea together and some cinnamon rolls that Sharon had made. Pastor gave Jane communion.

Susan and Gene Billmayer had eye doctor appointments in Chinook and then went on to Havre for more appointments.

Linda Hauge was over Saturday afternoon to see Mom Krass and to help her with a few things.

Gene Billmayer had kidney stone surgery on Thursday and returned home on Friday.

Diana Maloney took Mom Krass for medical test on Friday.

The ashes of Nancy Sudan were buried on Saturday at the cemetery. Our sympathy is extended to the family.
