Tracy Lee Shields "Whistling Elk" began his journey into the next chapter on life on the other side, for there his next chapter in life will no longer be with us here on earth. He chose to go home to his loved ones over there. He said "Don't cry for me, I'm not suffering anymore, and that he lived his life and he had a full life." He asked all those he helped to remember what he taught you or what he said to you. He had lessons in there.

He was born March 27, 1961 in Fort Belknap reservation to Mercedes Snell and Frank Snell of this union.

Tracy is preceded in death by his mother Mercedes Snell, and his Brothers Richard Snell and Heidi Honihan. He is survived by his Wife Shannon Shields, Daughters Tashina Shields and Shandara Shields, and Son Travis Shields, his 3 grandsons Donyae Shields "Rumbling Thunder, Markavious Harris, Tavaris Harris, Nieces Samantha Snell, Nephew Gabriel Healy and a handful of other family members and friends. Everyone that knew Tracy loved him.

Tracy's last chapter in life started and continued with Joe Shields. His spiritual walk gave him his value and meaning in life. He will now continue his journey with all our ancestors.
