Wanda Bushman of Malta, formerly of Harlem, has begun a battle with stage 1 lobular carcinoma, a form of breast cancer.
Wanda worked at the Harlem Elementary School for many years and is the office manager of the Phillips County news in Malta. She is mother of six adults, and grandmother of six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Wanda had a mammogram in June of 2023 which was an abnormal mammogram, from there a biopsy had detected the cancer.
Wanda will have a lumpectomy with partial lymph node removal in the last week of October and begin radiation mid-November for three weeks, ever...
