The Book Challenge for May is to read a book about mental health because May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
The Friends Executive Board will meet May 14, 4:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.
“Adventure Begins at Your Library!” is the summer reading theme for this year. The program will kick off with the Summer Reading Costume Party May 20 between 4:00 and 6:30 P.M. Join us at the library in your favorite costume for an evening of snacks, games, and community. All ages are welcome. Decorate our sidewalk with chalk, enjoy Paradise Shave Ice, have your photo taken. Parents are encourage to register their children for the summer reading program. Call the library if you have any questions.
The library will close at noon Tuesday, May 21, so staff and trustees may attend training.
The library board of trustees will hold their monthly meeting May 29, 4:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.
Don’t forget “Friends & Fun!” which meets each Wednesday at 1:00 -3:00 at the library for all adults. Come for a time of conversation, games and snacks!
