Havre Trails, a group interested in promoting and improving walking, running, and bike paths, is currently looking for sponsors for the 2025 Summerfest that will be taking place on Saturday, August 23 in Havre’s Pepin Park.
On Earth Day, April 22, the group celebrated by thanking the Hi-Line communities for their past support. “Every step you take on our beautiful local trails is made possible by community support,” Lindsey Brandt-Bennett stated. “You help us maintain and expand the outdoor spaces that make our area special.”
Since the nonprofit organization was founded in 2015, Havre Trails has worked to promote, improve, and expand recreational trails in and around Havre. Summerfest is their biggest fundraiser each year, and the majority of the funds raised go toward building and maintaining trails.
“Our current focus is constructing a connecting trail at the Bullhook Butte Hiking Area as well as maintenance at the Rotary Canyon Trail. Each new phase of trail-building is made possible by proceeds from the previous year’s summer Brewfest event. In 2024, we had nearly 700 attendees and raised over $11,000 to fund trails,” Brandt-Bennett explained.
The 7th Annual Summer Brewfest will take place August 23 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Pepin Park and will include dozens of Montana beers and ciders, several wine options, three food trucks, and live music by Counting Coup.
“Sponsors are critical to ensuring that our event is a success each year. This fundraiser helps us to continue building and maintaining hiking trails for everyone in the community to enjoy, so please consider donating for this year’s event!
Donations can be mailed to Havre Trails, 518 1st Street; Havre, MT 59501, and anyone wishing to include a logo in promotional materials should email that to havretrails@gmail.com by May 15.
