Residents at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home with October birthdays celebrated on October 24 when the Big Flat 4-H Club contributed cupcakes for a party. BACK ROW: Piper Fox and Hannah Van Voast. Beginning at 2:00 on Friday afternoon, October 24, the Big Flat 4-H Club hosted the October Resident Birthday Party at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home.
Not only an aspect of the 4-H proclamation that "4-H connects young people and adults to their communities" and encourages community engagement, the event further serves as a community service project for the club.
