In November 1991, Darlene Sharp, then a resident of Havre, won a nearly $47 million jackpot in a Lotto America drawing. At the time, Sharp credited Slammer the bull for her win since two of the six numbers she played twice a week for two years could be traced back to Slammer: 1, 9, 15, 17, 34, and 52. Slammer was the only bull in the Sharp’s small herd, hence the number 1, and his ear tag was number 52.
