    Dave and Teresa Cornell traveled to Billings on Thursday. Dave went home on Saturday, and Teresa is staying through Nov. 11 to watch Danial and Addison. Nancy Snider, Shawna and Merrilyn Billmayer, Tricia Kimmel, and Loretta Beck made lefsa at the Lutheran Church in Hogeland on Tuesday. Bobbi Beck stopped by after school to give them a hand also.     Well the temperature dropped down a bit and there’s some snow on the ground. Not quite enough to make it look like a winter wonderland, more like the remnants of a pillow fight.     Susan Billmayer was in Havre on Tuesday for a meeting with Emily. Rich Gerky of WI, cousin of Loretta Beck, Ed and Darwin Zellmer, was here for a few days visiting family. He stayed at Darwin’s home with the exception of Wednesday evening, when he was an overnight guest of the Becks.     4 Chinook High School Students from Mike Seymour's Lifetime Fitness Class concluded their golf unit by heading out to the Chinook Golf Course. The students spent the afternoon of Wednesday, October 16 at the local course. Students were divided into small groups and then sent on their way around the course, accompanied by volunteer members of the Chinook Golf Club.     The leaves were on the trees one minute and the next they are all laying on the ground. I actually like walking through the leaves on the sidewalk, it reminds me of my childhood and running to jump into a pile of leaves to be covered in them. I may have been hiding or waiting to scare somebody, usually my brother. The leaves sound like they are making noise with a bullhorn when you are trying to be quiet within them. It was found that excessive ladybugs can mean either a sign of good luck, or a sign of a weather change. Well, it was 100% right about the weather change.
