    After competing in both the livestock and the dairy products contests at the Montana FFA Ag Expo held November 11-13 in Bozeman, both Turner High School and Harlem High School students gained valuable experience with their performances.     The 95th Annual Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs Convention was held at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center in Billings, Montana, on November 10-12.     The American Red Cross held it's community blood drive in Chinook on Tuesday November 9th at Waller Hall. Thanks to all of our donors, we collected 50 units on a goal of 47. We had two first time donors, Stepahnie Grimes and Anna Morrow. Linda Thompson reached 8 gallons, Sandra Boardman 9 gallons Wilma Melville 8 gallons, Kasie McIntosh 4 gallons and Cindy Haney 2 gallons.     The Turner School held a Veteran's Day celebration on the playground at their school on Veterans Day 2021. Many local Veterans came for the program and were socially distanced in their cars on the edge of the playground.     On November 18, 2003, Lt. Governor Karl Ohs convened a meeting in Havre, Montana, to raise awareness of the urgent need to rehabilitate the aging St. Mary Facilities of the Milk River Project. In September, bovine tuberculosis (bTB) was discovered in a herd of cattle in northern Blaine County and then later in Phillips County.
