The Chinook community held a successful Red Cross blood drive on Tuesday, May 6th, with a total of 49 donors participating, including five first-time donors. We extend our thanks to everyone who took the time to donate—your support plays a vital role in helping those in need. A friend of mine, working as a volunteer at a recent Red Cross Drive in Chinook, called during the recent drive to tell me about a man who drove from Kremlin to donate blood. I went out to the Commercial Building to meet Rodney Johnson. Johnson had just completed is 27th gallon of donated whole blood. Voters in Blaine County weighed in on several key education-related issues during the May 6, 2025, election, with unofficial results showing the failure of all three proposed levies in School District No. 10 and the election of new school board trustees in Harlem and Hays-Lodge Pole school districts.
