The Chinook Swim Team closed out another spectacular season. Chinook was sixth in the Class AA team results but were exceptional when taking points in consideration to number of Swimmers on the team. The Chinook Lions hosted the Eastern Division swim Meet July 21-22. This situation was great for the kids as they got the opportunity swim in front of their hometown fans as well as in their own pool. The Chinook Sugarbeeters are bringing back their Football Camp for the first time since 2019. The Day Camp will be held August 1-3, 8:30-11:00 am daily. The ‘Beeter Football Team will be hosting the ‘Fundamental Skills Camp’ for athletes Grade 4-8. The three-day camp instructors will be the ‘Beeter Coaching Staff as well as players. Ginger Hansen recently hosted the 7th annual Chinook Golf Course Fundraiser Auction and Dinner. Each year the annual fundraiser has proven to be the most successful fundraiser for the golf course. For the past 7 years this event has raised the most money for the Chinook Golf Course including all tournaments. It was the last regular season meet for us this Friday at home against CJI. The girls played great and we enjoyed some beautiful weather. The MSU-Northern Rodeo returned from the NIRA Big Sky Regional Finals this week, with some bringing home a major win.
