Community Dinner for Chinook Golf Course in June

March 2, 2022

Saturday, June 25th, is the date reserved for the annual community dinner & auction fundraiser to support the CHINOOK GOLF COURSE. We are gearing up for another successful year of community support, while enjoying a fantastic meal of those famous BABY BACK RIBS (prepared by Kris Parsons & friends) with amazing side dishes & wonderful desserts, prepared by Ginger Hansen & friends. We will once again have our own KEVIN ELIAS, who always keeps it fun & fast paced as he so graciously donates his time to our efforts of keeping our long standing gold course in a fiscally solid operating ability.

Securing the funds each year to keep and maintain our golf course in the best condition possible requires community support. People from many generations have enjoyed the opportunity to play our wonderful golf course, which under the care of Mike Seymour & crew is always manicured to an amazing playing level, even in the harshest weather conditions. Our golf course does not have some of the opportunities that many other courses have, because of our inability to have a well at our disposal for watering needs to keep our course in premium condition. Unfortunately we must share whatever water resources that many others use for agricultural needs also, therefore when we are under drought conditions it strongly affects the condition of our golf course.

We are working diligently to secure as many fun auction items as possible, which is a challenge every year. Please keep in mind while bidding on the items which are almost exclusively secured by Ginger Hansen, every year to insure that we have items to bid on. If you have an item that you wish to donate for this very worthwhile cause, please contact Ginger @ 406-265-0803, no later than June 1st. This way, we have time to prepare our auction list.

PLEASE mark your calenders & plan to attend our 6th annual dinner/auction fundraiser to support one of the longest standing Chinook area family fun traditions. See you there! Saturday, June 25th, Blaine County Commercial Building.
