In passing by, I saw a book title, "Don't Believe Everything You Think" and I thought, that's the truth. Pun intended. I have a little, bitty story, which I'll entitle, "Hair Today and Gone Tomorrow", also not an orig-inal thought. Several weeks ago, I was visiting John and Carol when a man showed up with clippers and scissors. Alfredo, or Freddy, as John called him, made house calls. I asked if I could get a trim also, since I was beyond shaggy and had been cutting my own hair, never a good...

From children in the classrooms of VBS to adults in the halls of power, this verse offers wisdom and guidance. I’m glad that this is the theme verse for our Vacation Bible School—more affectionately known as VBS—this year. In a beautiful example of Christian unity here in Havre, five churches—plus a pair of counselors from Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp—come together to put on VBS for the entire co...

He suggested that we should make a point to truly look into the eyes of people we encounter this week. Be bold and mention something beautiful you see within each person." Barb said she'd gone shopping and entering the che...
