    The Montana Federation of Swimmers Eastern Divisional took place in Plentywood this past weekend. 360 swimmers and 12 teams were entered in the event, all hoping to punch their ticket to the State Swim Meet in Lewistown next Weekend. The top 12 finishers in each individual event as well as the top six medley, freestyle and mixed relay teams in each age group will advance to the state meet.     The Chinook Lions and Harlem swim teams concluded the Montana Federation of Swimmers regular season schedule this past weekend in Fort Benton. The Lions had a good contingent with 14 swimmers on hand to compete. Harlem had one swimmer in the pool in the regular season finale.     The Chinook Lions and Harlem swim teams headed east this past weekend to compete in the Glasgow Swim Meet. It was a tough go for everyone involved, not because of the nearly 300 swimmers set to compete, but because of the scorching heat.     When the 2021-22 High School sports season concluded the Harlem Wildcats were left with coaching vacancies across the board, all sports, all levels, Varsity, Junior Varsity, C Squad and Junior High.     The Chinook Golf Course held its 27 Hole Triple Play Golf tournament this past Sunday. This tournament is fairly new as far as top notch tournaments go, but it has certainly become a premier event for the course.     The Chinook Sugarbeeter girls basketball team shined this past weekend in Glendive at the Dawson Community College Summer High School Basketball Tournament.     The 2022 Bear Paw Marathon took place this past Saturday and a number of Blaine County Runners took to the course. Five competed in the full marathon, just two runners completed the half marathon and 13 women and six men ran the 5K. Ages ranged from 5-62 and represented Chinook, Harlem, Hays and Zurich.
