We had a great week here, at the center, with lots of new people participating in our activities and wonderful lunches, which our cooks, Candice & Karla are making each day. We are still in the early stages of forming a CORNHOLE league, as well as a BILLIARDS league. We are also talking about forming a card group & teaching a new game, called Lambsey. Greetings From the Senior Center! Our annual meeting was held this past Friday, and was very well attended. We were delighted to welcome Roxanne Townsend to our board of Directors. We had a wonderful turnout for our June birthday lunch celebration. We were all treated to a wonderful Roast Beef dinner. We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces join us for this occasion. Senior Center Greetings! Lots of fun things coming up this month at the Senior Center! We are in the preliminary stages of forming a CORNHOLE league. We would also like to form a BILLIARDS league. Saturday, June 25th, is the date reserved for the annual community dinner & auction fundraiser to support the CHINOOK GOLF COURSE. We are gearing up for another successful year of community support, while enjoying a fantastic meal of those famous BABY BACK RIBS (prepared by Kris Parsons & friends) with amazing side dishes & wonderful desserts, prepared by Ginger Hansen & friends. The 3rd annual community dinner and auction to support our Chinook golf course was held on Saturday, August 22. Despite the event being pushed to later in the year due to the pandemic, there was a fantastic crowd present and everyone had a great time. Social distancing was adhered too (due to the fact that we are fortunate enough to have the commercial building locally) which allows enough space to keep everyone at the required distance, while still moving ahead with the much needed fundraiser....
