The Chinook B League Girls Fast-Pitch Softball team concluded a perfect season with a bases loaded walk-off walk in eighth inning of the Championship Game on Thursday, June 24. The Chinook Golf and Country Club held its annual Community Dinner and Auction on Saturday, June 26 at the Blaine County Fairgrounds. The evening festivities included a BBQ Baby-back Rib Dinner cooked by Kris Parsons and Travis Schwindt. Dwight is well know around the community of Chinook and throughout all of Blaine County as always being a hard worker. The Harlem Lady Cats were at Dixie State University in Utah this past week. The long trek south was definitely worth it as the girls got to experience many new things together, build team spirit, and play some basketball. Chinook Sugarbeeter Football Head Coach Mike Jones, along with Assistant Coaches Roy Kelly and Scott Schmitt took 24 kids down to Bozeman to take part in the Montana State University Bobcat Eight-man Football Camp. The 32 Annual Class B All-Star Football game was played at Lockwood Stadium in Billings this past weekend. The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds girls basketball team had an outstanding showing in Stanford this past Sunday going 4-0 in the tournament and claiming a 39-21 win over the Centerville Miners in the Championship.
