My wife Sherry and I recently spent a week in Grand Forks, North Dakota with our son, celebrating his 50th birthday. He's lived there for some time. Harlem Public Schools On May 6, 2024, at 6:00pm the Harlem Jr. /Sr. High School held an Academic Banquet and celebration, of our students and staff. Invitations were sent out to all parents, guardians, both communities of Harlem and Fort Belknap Agency, as well as to the elders, retired teachers, tribal council and school board. On Sunday, April 28, the Chinook Chapter of the FFA played host to Donkey Sports, Incorporated in the Floyd Bowen Gymnasium for an evening's entertainment with Donkey Basketball. The first game tipped off at approximately 5:30 p.m. Travelling from Entiat, Washington, Donkey Sports furnished referees, game equipment, animals wearing rubber shoes, and helmets for the protection of the players. For our recent 80th birthdays my wife and I have been taking mini-vacations to places in Montana we've never visited. On Thursday, April 11, at 2:15 p.m., the fifth graders at Meadowlark Elementary School will be hosting their Wax Museum under the direction of Mrs. Lesa MacLeod. The public is invited to attend. St. Urho Day was celebrated in Blaine County, as best I can tell, for the first time in 2022. The made-up Finnish saint and accompanying legend has been enjoyed by Finns, and others, in Butte for several years.
