The Chinook Sugarbeeters were in Fort Benton on Thursday afternoon to kick start the 2022 Track and Field season off at the Snowbuster Invitational. Chinook High School senior Oskar Pula entertained 'Beeter fans on the hardwood for the past four years. This past season the standout led the Sugarbeeters in scoring with more than 15 per contest. Pula also cleaned the glass for nearly 12 rebounds a game and shot 55% from the field to go along with 34% from beyond the arc. The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbird Archery Program has come a long ways in its Inaugural season and competed this past week in Billings at a tournament hosted by Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks. The archery program was organized by Hays/Lodge Pole Science teacher Rod Benson and has been a huge success thus far.
