    The regular season is quickly winding down for the Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbird Volleyball team. After a delayed start, the girls packed as many games in as they could to get the conference schedule in before tournament time. This past week the Thunderbirds dropped a pair of matches to the Chester/Joplin-Inverness Hawks. The Thunderbirds were very competitive in the first match. They dropped the opening set 25-19.     The Chinook Sugarbeeters were looking to bounce back after suffering their first loss of the season the previous week. In doing so the boys headed west to Choteau Friday night to face the Bulldogs of the Northern C 'A' Subdivision. When all was said and done the 'Beeters had picked up a 55-18 win to improve to 6-1.     The Harlem Wildcats scheduled contest with the Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs was set to be played this past Friday. The Mustangs ended their season after week number two leaving the Wildcats in need of a game. The Rocky Boy Stars agreed to play the Wildcats in Harlem, but with the Stars already scheduled to play a game on Saturday, the contest would have to take place on a Monday.
