The Chinook Mens League concluded its season this past week crowning a champion in the process. In the championship match it was Chinook Pharmacy defeating Beaver Creek/Nalivkas by a score of 45-31. The Chinook Pharmacy claimed the title by getting championship efforts out of all four golfers. Scott Gunderson led the way with 12.5 points. Like so many other events this year the Annual Community Dinner and Live Auction hosted by Ginger Hansen to benefit the Chinook Golf Course had been postponed. Originally set to take place the first week of June the event was forced to reschedule due to COVID-19 restrictions put in place. The Chinook Golf Course held the 25th Annual Fireball Tournament this past Saturday and again the course was packed with players. A very different season in the pool concluded this past weekend in Sidney, Montana. The Chinook Lions and Harlem swim teams concluded their seasons at the Covid Classic 2020 Divisional Swim Meet. The Chinook Golf course welcomed 68 golfers making up 34 two person teams on Saturday, June 27 as they competed in the 5th Annual Triple Play Golf Tournament. The format began with each team playing a best ball format for the first nine holes. They followed that with nine holes of alternate shot and concluded with a nine hole scramble.
