With just two weeks left in the Big Sky Region Spring rodeo season, the Montana State University-Northern Skylights are really shining. And they did again last weekend in Miles City. Much-needed precipitation has fallen in this part of Montana in the last few weeks, turning around a near-absence of moisture the first months of the year, but the area is still far-short of normal. National Weather Service reported Friday, the deadline for this article, that Havre had received .68 inches of precipitation so far in April, ahead of its normal amount of .51 inches for April 17. It's spring rodeo season in the Big Sky Region, and Havre was the place to be last weekend as the Montana State University-Northern Rodeo Team hosted the annual MSU-Northern Rodeo at the Great Northern Fairgrounds.
