    The Chinook Lions hosted the Eastern Divisional swim meet this past weekend as the 2018 Summer Swim Season winds down. The top 12 swimmers/relays in each event advanced to the state swim meet in Conrad this weekend. A total of 383 swimmers took part in the meet, including 113 relays and 1,139 entries. The Chinook Lions had a very good weekend in the pool and will send 37 swimmers and 11 relays on to Conrad to compete in the Class AA Division. The Harlem swim team had some amazing performances...

    The Chinook Lions and Harlem swim teams took a full compliment of swimmers to Lewistown this past weekend and swam very well. The Chinook Lions finished second overall in the team points race as well as second in the relay race. The Lions had two High Point winners, Rachel Stephens in the eight and under Bantam girls and Daniel Tilleman in the 9-10 Midget boys.     The swim season has one more weekend in the pool before swimmers head to the Eastern Divisional Swim meet and the Chinook Lions and Harlem swimmers are looking good as the season winds down.     In their last swim, (June 30 - July 1) before the Blaine County Fair, Harlem's Andrew Rasmussen, Lillian Cochran and Alaynee Hawley along with Chinooks Rachel Stephens each claimed High Point honors in their respective division.     The Chinook Lions Swim team was limited in numbers this week when only a handful of swimmers made the trip to Cut Bank as the season enters the home stretch of the regular season.     The summer swim season officially kicked off this past weekend in Harlem as they hosted the first meet of the Montana Federation of Swimmers summer schedule.     The Chinook Sugarbeeter girls finished fourth at the State C Golf tournament held at Fairmont Hot Springs last week. The girls finished with a score of 646 just three shots out of third and fourth out of second.
