The Lady Cats played well in the 27-25, 27-29, 25-18, 23-25, 15-9 conference clash. The Chinook Sugarbeeters got back in the win column Friday afternoon in Hays with a 47-0 win over the Thunderbirds. Chinook was coming off an unscheduled bye the previous week after their contest with Fairview was cancelled. The Sugarbeeters entered the contest with the Thunderbirds with a 1-1 record. The Harlem Wildcats came back to earth this past weekend in Roundup. Harlem began the season with two nice wins for their first winning streak in years. The Chinook Golf and Country Club put the finishing touches on a abnormal season this past week. Wednesday saw the conclusion of the Mens and Womens Club Championships. Saturday was the annual Ryder Cup Team Tournament in which Chinook defeated Beaver Creek Golf Course 20-12 to regain the traveling trophy. The Harlem Wildcats are on a winning streak. The boys hosted the Wolf Point Wolves this past Friday in a Northern B contest. Harlem started fast, scoring on their first possession and then finished strong in a dominating 34-21 win to improve to 2-0 on the young season.
