The Harlem Lady Cat Volleyball team conclude a very difficult and challenging season Thursday night in Malta at the District 2B Tournament. In a five set battle with the Poplar Indians, the Lady Cats were defeated 3-2. The Lady Cats battled back from a nine point deficit in the opening set to earn a 29-27 win. The Chinook Sugarbeeters closed out the regular season on the road Friday night against the Geraldine/Highwood Rivals. The Sugarbeeters won the first match between the two teams 3-1 but the second time around it was the Rivals picking up a hard fought 3-2 win. The active number of COVID-19 cases on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, Blaine County and Phillips County has risen significantly and as a result the resumption of the fall sports season has been canceled. The Chinook Sugarbeeters came into their Homecoming contest a little banged up. They were a lot banged up following a rough quarter and a half to end a 80-42 loss to the Simms Tigers.
